Keamanan memang sesuatu hal yang sangat penting, tentunya hal tersebut harus dibantu dengan tools yang akan mempermudah pengelolaannya. Firewall, dibawah ini adalah cara instalasi ConfigServer Firewall (csf) yang bisa diinstall pada Operating System Linux. ConfigServer Firewall (csf) juga dilengkapi dengan GUI untuk beberapa kontrol panel seperti cPanel, Directadmin dan Webmin sehingga bisa dikelola dengan mudah.

Berikut cara instalasinya:

cd /usr/local/src
wget https://download.configserver.com/csf.tgz
tar -xzf csf.tgz
cd csf
sh install.sh

Pada cPanel server, akan muncul menu ConfigServer Firewall pada bagian plugin dan defaultnya dalam status disable. Sedangkan untuk Directadmin menu ConfigServer Firewall ada di level admin. Khusus Webmin, ada yang harus dilakukan lagi untuk mendapatkan GUI yakni harus dilakukan instalasi webmin module :

• Webmin > Webmin Configuration > Webmin Modules >From local file > /usr/local/csf/csfwebmin.tgz > Install Module

Adapun fitur dari ConfigServer Firewall adalah sebagai berikut:
